Abstract

The Leslie Clemmer papers consists of documents from his service onboard the Intrepid, including a roster of officers, an engagement list, and a magazine clipping about Ulithi, which Intrepid visited.

Card, Prayer; Front of card has an image of the Virgin Mary with small angels surrounding her. Inside, there is a small picture of Lt. Elmer Clarence Namoski, and the card is dedicated to "Lieut. Elmer C. Namoski // Died October 29, 1944 // Age 27 years". There are several prayers inside the card. The back cover has the prayer "Prayer Before a Representation of // Jesus Crucified".

Abstract The Paul Lyness papers document Lyness’s World War II government and U.S. Navy positions, including his service on USS Intrepid. They reflect his work with Captain/Rear Admiral Thomas Sprague both on Intrepid and during Sprague’s command of Carrier Division 22.
