Overview The Ben St. John papers contain manuals, notes, schedules, service records and other ephemera that were found in the pockets of St. John's various uniforms, donated and accessioned into the collection (2016.88.01-.05).
Overview The Edmund Squire archive contains materials from the Decomissioning process of the Intrepid in 1974. Documents include manuals used to check and prepare the ship, memos and logs about chalk testing, and blueprints of the elevators on the flight deck.
Scope and Contents The Bluejackets' Manual // United Stated Navy Annapolis, Maryland: United States Naval Institute, 1964. The first page of the manual says "Gerald Feola" on the top left corner, underlined and written in blue ink. Annotations are throughout the manual, including underlining, notes, circles, and other markings in blue ink. Last page says "G Feola // 998-59-11”

"120" on label top left front cover. This manual is an illustrated narrative manual of a conversation between two sailors, Al and Ed, about a sailor killed by electric shock. Describes currents, conduction and on ship electrical safety. Makes specific reference to Electric Shock, It's Causes and Prevention (A00.2011.121)

Inside cover has "Karl 'Bo' Bobko/CA // 483-6081" written on the lower half of the page. The manual is divided into sections with tabs seperating them. The sections are "Brief," "ELP," "EDW," and "KSC." Front and back covers are laminated.
