John Postick Papers

Abstract The John Postick Papers includes three books and one program from Postick's service on board USS Intrepid and his life after it. John Peter Postick served on board from 1933-1946. He enlisted in Philadelphia, PA September 1, 1943. He was received on board Intrepid May 1944 as a Fireman First Class (F1). In October of 1944 he received a rate change to EM3 (T) to fill a vacancy in that department. In January he had a rate change to EM2. He was transferred off the ship in May 1946.
