Abstract
Shaun O’Shaughnessy served on board USS Growler from 1962 until 1963. He was a missile technician third class (MT3). His papers include correspondence and certificates from his Naval and submarine training, a letter to his parents, his discharge papers, and other ephemera. Included in the papers are two sets of qualification drawings, which were required before O'Shaughnessy could qualify on Growler and earn his dolphins.
