Biography
Donald Bosetti, from Fitz Henry, Pennsylvania, served aboard Growler as an engineman second class from 1959 to 1961. While aboard Growler he operated, maintained, and repaired the submarine’s engines. He also maintained Growler’s stills, which supplied the boat with fresh water. After his time on Growler, Bosetti left the Navy and worked for Fairbanks Morse.
