Biography
Lt. Elmer Clarence Namoski was a 26 year old pilot who served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11) with VB-18 during World War II. According to the squadron history, he is listed as MIA on October 19, 1944 during an attack on Clark Field in the Philippies. He was shot down and died during the battle of Leyte Gulf.
