Biography
John Stephen Sheperson served as a Yeoman First Class (Y1) in the V-6 Department on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11). Mr. Sheperson had copied down his calendar before he left the ship. The calendar is a diary of sorts that details the major events that happened on board Intrepid March-September 1945. Sue Bishop, his granddaughter has also provided us with photocopies of Mr. Sheperson’s service record for our file.
