Abstract The Don and Eloise Bee Papers includes a series of love letters exchanged between the Don and Eloise, his then girlfriend and future wife, while Don was deployed on Intrepid from January 26, 1944–August 16, 1945, menus and programs from his time aboard, and a telephone directory from the ship from Apirl 1945.

Abstract The Mike Krebs Intrepid papers include correspondence, publications, maps, and other documents relating to his service aboard Intrepid as a pilot with VA-34 in 1967, during the ship’s second Vietnam War deployment. He was a lieutenant junior grade.

Abstract The Nobel Atkins Sr. Archive contains documents and letters from Atkin's short service on Intrepid in 1945. The collection includes action reports for VT-10, news and radio releases that were circulated throughout the ship, and letters home.

Abstract The R. Nicholas Chapman Papers contain reports, poems, and programs from Chapman's time aboard USS Intrepid. R. Nicholas Chapman served on board Intrepid as part of the decommissioning crew. Chapman was the H Division Officer and oversaw sick bay. Included in these papers are three farewell poems to various squadrons, the USS Intrepid Medical Report for 1972-1973, a program from Intrepid's 1974 Decommissioning ceremony, and a program from Intrepid's 30th Anniversary in 1973.

Abstract Richard K. Gaines was the first Executive Officer of Intrepid. His papers include the program from Intrepid's Commissioning ceremony, Intrepid printed newspapers, Plans of the Day, documents a report about the first Shakedown Cruise from September 14 to November 1, 1943, personnel records and reports, Naval dispatches, Naval song sheets, and other records pertaining to Intrepid's operations and the Pacific Fleet during Gaines' time as Commanding Officer.
