Abstract

Robert M. Roof was an Intrepid plankowner and worked in the Gunnery Department. He left the crew as a seaman first class on February 14, 1946. The Robert Roof papers contains newspaper clippings, Plans of the day, certificates, menus, records of his service aboard in Intrepid during World War II and beyond, as well as other various documents relating to his time in the Navy.
