Abstract

Dr. Kenneth Marshall served on board Intrepid as a flight surgeon from January 1967 until December 1968. He served as a flight surgeon and was attached to Carrier Air Wing 10. Following the fire on USS Forrestal on July 29, 1967, Dr. Marshall and five other members of Intrepid’s medical staff assisted in the treatment of casualties, and this describes their activities. This collection contains a summary of the events and a newspaper clipping about Intrepid crewmen helping those affected.
