Biography
Jon Geer flew off of the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVA-11) as part of fighter squadron VF-81, probably 1957 to 1958. Jon Roger Geer pilot on Intrepid from 1957-58 with VF-81 flying Cougars. His naval career included service in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He attended the Navy General Line School, Newport, Rhode Island, and the United Kingdom Joint Services Staff College, Latimer, England. He held a Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
