Biography
John Peter Postick served in the Navy from 1933-1946. He enlisted in Philadelphia, PA September 1, 1943. He was received on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11) May 1944 as a Fireman First Class (F1). This would have been after repairs due to the February torpedo attack. In October of 1944 he received a rate change to EM3 (T) to fill a vacancy in that department. In January he had a rate change to EM2. He was transferred off the ship in May 1946.
