Biography
John Bardo Gattey reported on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11) in 1944 and worked in the V-6 Division as an Ensign, A-V (S) under Lt. Christen. According to the War Diaries, he was killed at 12:59 on November 25, 1944 as a result of the kamikaze attacks.
