Biography

Brian Walker, from Plainfield, Wisconsin, served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) during the second Vietnam deployment in 1967. Walker was an attack aviator in VA-34, flying A-4 Skyhawks on “road recces” and Alpha Strikes. While aboard Intrepid he was also berthed in the junior officer bunkroom known as “Triple Sticks.” After Walker’s deployment aboard Intrepid had ended, he made one final cruise aboard Forrestal before leaving the Navy and returning to Wisconsin where he became involved in banking.
